 I was commuting from Morehead to Lexington, and gas prices started to rise so I knew it was time to jump into buying a home. Along the way I found out Ty was a realtor, and thought who better. Luckily Ty was a friend of mine, so that made the choice a little easier. He worked as hard for me as he did a customer he didn’t know, and that says a lot. I’ve had friends help with things, and I’m last on the list because I’m their friend and I’ll understand. Not Ty. He had me bring a list of houses I liked, and he would bring a list. He was then kind enough to drive me to each of these, and give his opinion on not only the home, but the home as an investment since most home owners don’t stay in their first home long. We had it narrowed down to two home, and it was one from my list and one from his. I was leaning hard toward mine but he really help me understand that one was a better investment. In the end he was right, which I rarely give him credit for as a friend. As a realtor you won’t find anyone that will work harder for you, and he’s like a shark when it comes to getting you the best deal. He’ll push for what you want, and will help you get it. He’s very down to earth, a straight shooter, and that’s what makes him a great realtor. I found myself searching for my first home earlier this year, after countless dead ends I was finally refered to Ty through a friend.
